I've got opportunity to do and interesting job. a complicated mantle will be the main thing. the rest is mundane. 11 doors, crown, the usual. here are a couple of pictures to show what I'm going to try and replicate. it must have a hidden door to access the gas valve for the fire box. they don't want to see the valve. so I'll do like norm abrams and do my rendition. there is a before picture as well. the other 2 I took from a magazine. cold again and rain next week. waiting for the mail. found a tv on the curb near my house. it works. the brick is the before. a lot of planning to do. that's all for now

had another great day. didn't drive as much as I wanted. ate more than I should nave. looked at a really big job. maybe I can make it work. a wild mantle. need my big rope. car car is famous. I can barely hold it back, heck I need a big rope for it as well. I mean lasso. I'm in texas. got to get it all in order. tomorrow will be a mess. engineer. I bet he never drove a train. at least it will be a sunny day. maybe a doughnut in the morning. a blueberry cake. um that sounds good. truck truck will be my friend tomorrow. my big wheel.

packing on the winter pounds. I invaded emys old play house and found a pic she must have framed it as well. I was taken by it, no wait; I took it and put it in it's rightful place. in the house so I can see it every day. my # 1 daughter. and now it is time to rest.

it was a nice day today. I was shopping for calenders. almost 10 duckies each. I need 2 you see. bought some wonderful products for a door repair. just got to know where to shop. went to buy inserts for my shoes and for the price I either payed for them or calenders. however you slice it up I got 2 for one, sweet. got home safe again. time to hibernate. maybe a little vehicle repair. music for sure. that is for the remainder of the week. got up to 61 today. I would like to play horse shoes. I played a guy flipping coins. odds or even. I cleaned out the house. his house. but I played my whole pot against him until I lost it back. less than a dollar. I started with a 10 cent front by him. I did lose a pecan in the deal though. they grow on trees. I tried to get him to go rock paper scissors for 3 cents a day or so later. he backed down. shucks.

corbels at the top. the stained steps are treads and landing that I had to make from 5/4 x 6 boards. the treads are 2 pieces. the landing 7. they are installed with no mechanical fasteners so it has a real clean look. the stain treds don't show wear like a painted one will. well there you have it.

the job wasn't ready. and I had the day off. um. the door bell rang all day. om. the chili was very good. now I make a soup. yum or num num. truck truck is famous. I could sell tickets. traded a gas cap for bullets today. yep. check it out really check it out a real spirograph. by kenner's # 401 may I add. time for mission impossible. over and out

pearl has breakfast in bed. the truck engine. and a super sweet chop saw in pieces. and the ever present picture of emily. the saw was a great find at a pawnshop. about as cheap as dirt. but good all the same. where would we be without dirt? the center of nothing? well; time to start a project. I ve got to get 2 calenders.

HEY!. got the truck started. smooth. very nice. and then I guess I will roll around tomorrow. maybe start a chili. going to be cold monday. guess I'll have to go to joe's, yeah I need a couple of calenders. give truck truck a good test. harbor freight again. if the highway keeps calling I may roll east in awhile. not sure. I need a new pocket knife. I can't get pictures to load.
