corbels at the top. the stained steps are treads and landing that I had to make from 5/4 x 6 boards. the treads are 2 pieces. the landing 7. they are installed with no mechanical fasteners so it has a real clean look. the stain treds don't show wear like a painted one will. well there you have it.
